I broke from tradition this morning, no bacon baguette! Natalie's fault as she joined us at Cote for breakfast and opted for the French Breakfast.....so I joined her, luckily I queried what Boudin Noir was!! For those that don't know it's a dark-hued blood sausage, thankfully that was replaced by a regular sausage! It was handsome....
With that over indulgence it was time to head back
to the gym, that was a shock to the system I can tell you...tried to get on Monday's spin class, and can you believe it, 10th on the waitlist....fecking January rush!!!! Grrrrrrr
What to do on a rainy, bleak Saturday afternoon in January - go to the flicks!!! And what to see? A good old epic about Moses, "Exodus" - very good film apart from being late due to the traffic, stupid youths in our seats and then their continuous chatter....luckily before tree rage erupted another guy shouted "Shut Up"
Now at home with a bottle of Californian Merlot (delicious Lindsey, thank you) and watching Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett's "Cheek To Cheek"....not a huge Jazz fan but this is gooooood!!! Cheers!
